Free tools for Shopify merchants

Small jobs that come up when you sell online, done in the browser. No account, no upload: what you type or paste stays on this page.

  1. EU nutrition label generator

Enter fat, carbohydrate, sugars, protein and salt per 100 g or ml. The generator works out energy with the factors of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, rounds every value the EU way, adds a per-portion column with %RI and writes the headings in seven languages.

For food and drink sold in the EU · Copy as HTML or text, or save a PNG

    Make a nutrition table

  2. EU allergen checker

Paste an ingredient list and see the 14 allergens of Annex II in bold. It reads English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch, knows derived names such as whey, semolina and tahini, and leaves look-alikes like cocoa butter and coconut milk alone.

For ingredient lists on packs and product pages · An aid, so check the result yourself

  3. Shopify invoice generator

Fill in seller, buyer and line items and watch the invoice take shape beside the form. Set a VAT rate per line, prices with or without VAT, a discount, shipping, VAT IDs and the reverse charge note, then save it as a PDF or print it. A checklist shows what an EU or UK VAT invoice still lacks.

For one-off invoices, quotes for a wholesale buyer or an order placed outside Shopify · Logo stays on your device

What each country adds: EU VAT invoice requirements by country.

  4. Packaging weight EPR calculator

List the boxes, fillers, tape, jars and lids you ship, with the grams per unit and the units per month or year. The calculator adds them up to kilograms per material, grouped by the eight LUCID material types for Germany and the EU PPWR categories, and exports the result as CSV.

For EPR reports in Germany (LUCID), France (Citeo) and other EU countries · No fee estimates

    Add up packaging weights

  5. Shopify order CSV to Excel

Open the orders CSV that Shopify exports and get a sheet you can sort and sum: order details filled onto every line-item row, or one row per order. Pick, reorder and rename columns, filter by date, payment and fulfillment status, see totals per currency, and download a real .xlsx with numbers and dates as Excel types.

For bookkeeping, supplier lists and pivot tables from the native export · The file never leaves your browser

    Convert an orders CSV

How these tools work

Each tool is one page that runs in your browser. Nutrition values, an ingredient list, invoice details and your logo, a packaging list or an orders CSV with names and addresses are worked on with JavaScript on your device and never uploaded to a server. There is no sign-up and no account, and a tool keeps working when you lose the connection after the page has loaded.

The invoice generator and the packaging calculator keep what you entered in this browser’s local storage, so it is there on your next visit, and each has a button that clears it. The other three keep nothing once you reload or close the tab.

The rules behind each tool are written out on its page: the articles and annexes of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 for the nutrition table and allergens, the VAT invoice details of the EU VAT Directive and UK rules for the invoice, and the LUCID material types and EU PPWR categories for packaging weights. The order converter reads the columns of Shopify’s own orders export. A tool helps you prepare a label, an invoice or a report; you remain responsible for checking the result against your products, your accountant’s advice and the law.
