Pick a notification and an email language, and see the subject and the blocks Mailcraft starts the email with, in the wording it writes for that language.
Shown with a sample order, as in the app’s preview: Shopify fills in the real order, with its amounts, when it sends the email. English is included; German, French, Dutch and Italian come with Pro. Text you write in a block replaces this wording and stays as written.
The totals block prints subtotal, discounts, shipping, taxes and total as Shopify charged them.

Mailcraft asks Shopify for no access scopes. It cannot read or change your products, collections, menus, themes, orders or customers, so no app update can delete or rewrite them.
The install screen asks for no access to products, orders, customers or themes. Install, billing and the app's own settings need none.
The app writes the template code. You paste it under Settings > Notifications, and Shopify fills in the real order each time it sends the email.
To go back, open the notification in Shopify, click Revert to and choose Default.
No theme code and no app embed. Your online store stays as it is.

Shopify sends order confirmation, shipping and refund emails from Liquid templates. The email settings change the logo and the accent colour; anything more means editing that code by hand, in every notification.
An app that designs these emails only needs to write code you paste. It has no reason to edit your products, collections or menus.
Order confirmation, shipping confirmation, shipping update, out for delivery, delivered, order cancelled and order refund. Use the logo and accent colour from Shopify's email settings, or set your own colours, font and footer.
Reorder, hide or edit the greeting, items, totals, tracking, addresses, button and text blocks, and set the subject. The preview shows the email with a sample order.
Each notification has its subject and code to copy and the steps to paste them in Shopify. The checklist shows what is pasted and flags a template that changed after you pasted it.
Seven everyday notifications come with every plan, and Pro adds eight more. Each one starts with the blocks below, in this order. You can reorder, hide, edit or add blocks, and set the subject.

Shopify sends every email. You paste each template’s subject and code under Settings > Notifications, and Shopify fills in the real order each time. Fixed wording comes in English, German, French, Dutch and Italian; the last four with Pro.
Logo, colours, font and footer, shared by every template.
Reorder blocks, change the wording and check the preview.
Copy the code into Settings > Notifications and tick it as pasted.
Knowing the limits up front saves you an install.
Shopify still sends every notification. The app writes the template you paste.
No Shopify API writes notification templates, so you paste the code once per notification.
Pro gives the fixed wording, such as totals, addresses and buttons, in German, French, Dutch and Italian. The text you write stays as written.
No newsletters or campaigns: order and shipping notifications only.

None. Mailcraft asks Shopify for no access scopes, so it cannot read or change your products, collections, menus, themes, orders or customers. It writes code that you paste into Shopify yourself.
No. Nothing is added to your theme. The templates go into Settings > Notifications, not into your online store.
No. It is a public app for the Shopify App Store, and the templates go into the customer notifications of your Shopify admin.
The templates you pasted stay in Shopify and keep sending until you revert them: open the notification, click Revert to and choose Default. Your designs and brand settings in the app are deleted when Shopify sends its erasure request.
With Pro, a conditional text block shows only when the order contains a product with a given title, tag or vendor, when the order has a given tag, or when the shipping method name contains a word, such as Express.
