Approvals in chat and spreadsheets
Agencies running 15 to 20 or more client stores say changes get approved in Slack threads and spreadsheets, away from the store they change.
Storefleet Store Ops for agencies
Link your clients’ Shopify stores to one workspace. Limit each person to the stores they work on, and have stock and discount changes wait for approval before they reach a live store.
What we hear
Paraphrased from public posts by merchants and agencies in the Shopify Community, on Reddit and in App Store reviews.
Agencies running 15 to 20 or more client stores say changes get approved in Slack threads and spreadsheets, away from the store they change.
Merchants ask whether one login can handle orders across several stores, and hear that each store’s admin has to be opened on its own.
Reviews of sync apps describe a whole inventory set to zero, or hundreds of duplicate products, with no one asked first.
Merchants worry about AI tools that invent SKUs and automations they cannot stop. Many keep AI to drafts and approve the result themselves.
Client stores, grouped
Install the app on each client store and link it to your workspace with that store’s connection key. Inside Shopify admin, a store switcher sits on every list. In the web dashboard at your-workspace.getstorefleet.com, every list starts with all your stores together, and the store is a column you filter by.
Clients on Shopify Plus already get sales reporting across their stores from Shopify. For client stores that are not on Plus, this puts the numbers in one place; for every store, the point is the team control below.
Roles per store
Every member of your workspace is an admin, a manager or staff. Staff can be limited to the screens and the stores you choose, so a contractor on one client’s account sees that client and nothing else.
Invites, edits and removes members, approves changes and reads the audit log.
Sees every screen and approves changes.
Sees only the screens and stores granted to them. A staff member with no store assigned can see every store, so assign at least one.
Two-factor sign-in: an admin can require it for the whole workspace with one switch.
Approve before it goes live
In the web dashboard, stock levels and discounts wait for an admin or manager to approve by default. A pending change shows a before-and-after and how many objects it touches, and it is flagged when it cannot be undone. Nothing changes until someone says yes.
Each refund or stock change belongs to one store and is approved for that store. In the app inside Shopify admin, a change applies when you press the button, as it would in Shopify admin itself.
Audit log
Sign-ins and failed sign-ins, password changes, invitations, role, screen and store changes and other sensitive actions are recorded, newest first. Only admins can read the log.
Discounts
Running promotions for several clients? Create each store’s discount codes in the web dashboard, and they wait for an admin or manager to approve, with a before-and-after, before they reach that store.
Per store, in one list: each discount, stock or refund change belongs to one store and is approved for that store. Every pending change across your client stores sits in one Approvals list.
AI on client stores
On Pro, you can connect an AI tool such as Claude to your stores through MCP. The connection works inside the same rules as your team.
Custom solutions
The same team that builds and runs Storefleet Store Ops takes on custom work: a custom Shopify app, integrations with the tools your agency already uses, back-office tools, or a server of your own.
FAQ
Install Storefleet Store Ops on your first store; that creates your workspace. For each client store, install the app there too and link it to the same workspace with the connection key shown in Settings › Account.
No. Nothing is kept in sync between stores automatically. Every change starts from an action by someone on your team, and in the web dashboard stock and discount changes wait for approval unless you lower that per store.
No. Each refund, stock or discount change belongs to one store and is approved for that store; what you get is one Approvals list with every pending change across all your client stores.
Yes. Give them the staff role and limit them to the stores and screens they work on. Admins and managers see every screen. A staff member with no store assigned can see every store, so assign at least one. See the security page for the full list of controls.
Shopify Plus organizations already get sales reporting across their stores from Shopify, so StoreFleet’s cross-store analytics matter most for stores that are not on Plus. What StoreFleet adds for any agency team is control: roles limited by store and screen, approval before stock and discount changes, owner-only refunds, cancellations and captures in the web dashboard, two-factor sign-in and an audit log.
